On Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th March 2023, Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board, in partnership with Scientific Animation without Borders, SAWBO conducted a two-day session on Agricultural Extension Education, whose main objective is to improve agricultural education and extension through the use of animated videos and promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among stakeholders.

The workshop was officially opened by the Deputy Director General of RAB in charge of Animal Resources Development, Dr. Solange UWITUZE and participants included RAB Scientists, agriculture extension experts, journalists, and other stakeholders.

Dr Solange UWITUZE encouraged the digitalisation of agriculture extension as a large number of farmers are young and are now on digital platforms.

The workshop also became an opportunity for exchange between the SAWBO team and RAB scientists on how to increase and develop

This workshop is a result of a collaboration framework between RAB and the Scientific Animations Without Boarders SAWBO from Perdue University.
