On May 23, 2024, Dr. Solange Uwituze, Deputy Director General of Animal Resources Development at the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB), welcomed Dr. Koffi C. Akakpo, the 19th President of Kentucky State University, and his delegation. Their dialogue centered on RAB's use of technology to advance agricultural and livestock development.

Following their discussions, the delegation from Kentucky State University visited the agricultural research facilities at Rubona and the bull center at Songa Station. They praised the technological advancements and innovative methodologies implemented to enhance agriculture and animal resources.
