In a determined effort to revolutionize Rwanda's agricultural landscape, on November 16th, 2023, Fair Planet hosted a technical showcase at the Rwanda-Israel Center for Horticultural Development, a state-of-the-art facility operated under the auspices of the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB). This pivotal event served to illuminate the progress of a recently launched five-year project meticulously designed to propel Rwanda's vegetable production.

Participants were immersed in a captivating learning experience, encompassing guided tours of cultivated vegetable plots established in both greenhouses and open fields. This firsthand exposure granted them a profound understanding of the innovative techniques meticulously employed to optimize vegetable production.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Her Excellency Einat Weiss, the Ambassador of the State of Israel to Rwanda, who eloquently emphasized the transformative impact of the project, alongside representatives from various seed companies

The technical showcase emerged as a beacon of knowledge exchange and expertise sharing, fostering partnerships and showcasing the boundless potential of Rwanda's horticulture sector. The project is poised to yield remarkable improvements in vegetable productivity, paving the way for enhanced food security and economic prosperity.
