The Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources, Dr Gerardine Mukeshimana, presided over a handover ceremony between the incoming Director General of RAB, Dr Alexandre Rutikanga and the outgoing Director General, Dr Patrick Karangwa.

In his remarks, Dr Rutikanga pledged to work diligently towards boosting agriculture and livestock.

The ceremony also saw an exchange of office between the exiting Deputy Director General in charge of Agriculture Development, Dr Charles Bucagu, and Dr Florence Uwamahoro, who was appointed by the cabinet to the position. Ms. Clarisse Umutoni handed over the Chief Finance Office to Mr. Eric Hakizimana. And Ms. Liliane Umutesi took office as the Finance and Administration Division Manager, taking over from Mr. Eric Hakizmana, who was promoted to Chief Finance Officer.

The Honorable Minister Dr. Gerardine Mukeshimana concluded the ceremony by awarding certificates of appreciation to the departing RAB leaders for their outstanding contributions to Agriculture and Livestock development.
