 Her Excellency Professor Charity Manyeruke, the High Commissioner of Zimbabwe to Rwanda, paid a courtesy visit to the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB) in Huye. Upon her arrival, she was warmly received by Dr. Telesphore Ndabamenye, the Director General of RAB. Their discussions primarily revolved around fortifying collaboration between the two nations to advance agricultural development.

Subsequently, Professor Charity toured the agricultural research facilities at RAB's Rubona Station, which encompassed state-of-the-art laboratories and a coffee research demonstration plot, among other notable features. She expressed her appreciation for the pivotal role of technology in propelling innovative agricultural development within Rwanda.

Notably, Rwanda and Zimbabwe have been actively engaged in agricultural development initiatives. In 2021, both countries solidified their commitment to this endeavor by signing a Memorandum of Understanding related to Agriculture and Livestock Development, further solidifying their collaborative efforts in this vital sector.
